Who We are
High Plains Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church located at 2800 East 21st Street in Clovis, New Mexico 88101. Clovis is located on the high plains of Eastern New Mexico and is the largest community within a 100-mile radius. Clovis is also the home of Cannon Air Force Base.
Every Independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self- governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to conform to the pattern of the New Testament Church as outlined in the scriptures.
At High Plains Baptist Church, we have one message-the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry-the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature and to develop devoted disciples.
Our primary goal is to minister to families and individuals in our community through bible-based teaching and preaching that will help you and your family to grow in your faith and in your understanding of God's Word.
